1. There’s always a reason

Whatever happened in the past happened for good, whatever is happening in the future is happening for good, and whatever happens in the future will also be good.

Shri Krishna says to Arjuna to continue performing one’s dharma or duties without worrying over success or failure. Everything happens for a reason, and if something doesn’t happen in your favor, it’s best to let it go instead of sulking, as there may be a good reason behind it that you are unaware of. There are so many plants and animals whose fate can’t be changed, so let’s be proud of being humans. 

2. Desires will come and go

 According to the Bhagavad Gita, desires will enter your mind and go as it is natural for a human being. But, you should not let the desire take over your mind and life. Don’t let your desires control you, as it will always bring you harm, stress, and the ultimate result, rebirth. The Gita advises humans, to enjoy the ‘show’ of life as it unravels before you. 

3. Change is constant; it’s a universal law

One of the crucial lessons from Gita is that the only constant thing in life is change; nothing in this life is fixed. A rich man can become poor, and his fame can be gone quickly. The poor on the streets may become rich. Change is constant; seasons change, people around us change, and even nature changes over time. You must also remember that both happiness and sorrow are temporary. So that you can learn to be resilient and tenacious, face it, and make the best of it. 

4. Body is temporary, and the soul is permanent

Shri Krishna’s Bhagavad Gita says that the soul is permanent, and the body is temporary. Many people fear death, but it’s the ultimate truth that everyone must die in the end, so one shouldn’t fear and worry about it. Fear and worrying will diminish your chances of progressing in life. It will become an obstacle in your duties, so it must be eradicated from your mind. 

5. We come into this world empty and hand and will go back empty-handed

8. Face your responsibilities

Bhagavad Gita also teaches us to face our responsibilities. Right from birth on earth, we are all tied with some responsibilities. We must have the courage and faith to continue our responsibilities and not run away from them. 

9. Importance of meditation

Lord Krishna has mentioned meditation many times in the Gita. Meditation is the best way to get rid of stress, anxiety, and overthinking. Meditating regularly can help you gain clarity, control over your thoughts, and help develop a deeper level of understanding of the world around you. Meditation can also help you achieve inner peace and connect with the divine.

10. Have no doubt

Have faith in the absolute truth or the greater force. Having doubts about the same is the reason why many people are unhappy. According to Bhagavad Gita, a person will not be at peace in this world or the next one if his mind is in doubt. Having faith will bring positivity and peace to a person.
